Nepal exports over 3,000 sacks of cement to India for first time For the primary time, Nepal has commenced exporting cement to India. The professional system started out on Friday with Palpa Cement Industries Limited exporting its Tansen brand to India. The agency placed at Sunwal Municipality-7 in West Nawalparasi district hosted a unique characteristic to mark the launch. In its annual budget, the government introduced an 8 percent cash subsidy for companies exporting cement containing Nepalese raw materials. “Today we export about three thousand bags of cement to India. Demand on a daily basis,” said Jeevan Niruala, Palpa Cement’s public relations office. Industrialists have welcomed the development as Nepal has become self-sufficient with this building material.
